A warm welcome to our latest signed star player. The player, who is the third new to join the Unihoc crew, is the playmaker Mika Kohonen. Kohonen is, without a doubt, one of the best players in the floorball world. He’s a constant threat in his club team, Storvreta IBK but also in the Finnish national team. Last year he led the national team to its first World Cup gold ever.

Unihoc International AB has in cooperation with the Czech distributor Spinflo signed yet another top player to Team Unihoc. The new player is the top forward Milan Garcar. Garcar played for Tatran, one of the best teams in the Czech Republic last season, but has now signed a contract with IBF Falun for the coming season.

2009 05 11 UNIHOC TAKES SOUTH KOREA

”The world is our play ground”.  As the biggest brand in the Floorball industry, we find it our duty and vision to push the development of the sport further. Not just in Sweden, but worldwide. As a step in that direction, we sent two of our sponsored players to South Korea to promote the sport.

Unihoc sponsored Daniel “Magic” Johnsson and Nicole Karlsson left for Seoul last Wednesday to market the sport together with Mikael Oliw from Freebandy and Vidar Jonsson, coach from the SSL team Pixbo Wallenstam IBK. The focus will be on the “Zorro-trick” but they will also be there to support and inspire the South Korean national team.

The highlight of the trip will be a demonstration broadcasted in the TV-show Star King. This is where the players will promote themselves and the sport in front of eleven million viewers.

2009 05 04 GOLD TO UHC WEISSENFELS LADIES

UHC Weissenfels ladies team is now German champions! Weissenfels could, for the first time in history, win the championship. It was fifteen year old Pauline Baumgarten who did the final 6-5 goal in the exciting game.
