As the world-leading brand on the floorball market, our aim is always to strive for innovative solutions, development and success. Passion for the sport, but also its players, has made us work even harder and more focused to reach as many as possible. We build our successful concept on quality and shaft techniques topped with the importance of functionality and design. There are many thoughts, meanings and employees behind the assortment. Two of them are Torbjörn Jonsson, brand manager and Johan Jihde, purchaser and marketing manager, both Unihoc International AB.
Tell us about the assortment. What were your thoughts before creating the new collection?
We wanted to keep the unique Unihoc-look, with its clean style, for our stick collection. This season, we added straight, clear lines and classic colours. We are also very proud to be able to present improvements in the stick’s different components such as grip and shaft design. We have also been able to add one new shaft technique for this collection which is the BOW shaft. As world-leading in shaft techniques, it’s always special to be able to present yet another innovative model.
Except the stick collection there is our clothing line, which has an increased assortment for this season. There are more models, colours and price ranges to choose from which makes it possible for us to provide our garments to a wider group of customers.
What’s also both fun and inspiring to present is our new top of the line series for goalies, called Summit. Summit includes the absolute lightest masks on the market. The masks do also have a pioneering, cool design with inspiration from the baseball catcher’s mask. This does not just mean the design but also new solutions for both the grill and the back strap. These masks are being complemented with gloves and clothing with functionality, quality and design in absolute world class.
We can also present a brand new line of bags, Mirror Line, which we are extremely satisfied with. This line includes a wide range of bags, from the small personal bag to the large team bag. What unifies the bags is their clean design, developed functionally and fine details.
What product would you like to mention and push a little extra for? Why this one?
We have to choose BOW when it comes to the sticks. This is yet another innovative solution which is to the player’s advantage on the field. Thanks to its unique shaft with its different curves and flex, we can meet a wider group of customers and at the same time keep our position as the world leader in shaft technology.
We would also like to mention Summit, which without a doubt is the hottest goalie concept on the market. And add some extra attention to the masks with their extremely light weight and cool design.
Is there any news that you are extra proud of?
We would like to answer our new line of bags. Mirror line is a complete series in which we’ve invested a lot of time and love. Its clean style, with fine details, suits a personal bag as well as a team bag.
What is there to expect from Unihoc in the future?
We don’t want to reveal too much. We are constantly working on new projects, development, design and quality. We can promise new, exciting releases during the season – but that is enough for now. Keep your eyes open!
