PRODUKTER

Hi Mika! Welcome to Unihoc.
- What are your thoughts about your new sponsor?

- Thank you. I feel very welcome so far. It’s going to be very inspiring to work with the biggest and best brand in the floorball market. I only work with sponsors that I really believe in and that I see a long term cooperation’s with. So I hope this will last for the rest of my career.

- What made you choose Unihoc among all the other floorball brands?

First of all, it’s the stick. I just know that it will fit me perfectly. Then it’s the person chemistry. I want to work with good people, and I know I’ll do that at Unihoc. I knew Torbjörn from earlier on and my contact persons in Finland are awesome as well. I do also have knowledge about the company and I know that everything works perfectly from my time in Balrog. Then it’s fun to see how the whole range has changed and developed into more than just good sticks. Unihoc’s clothing line, beanies and other stuff are the hottest on the market!

- Is there a favorite stick in the Unihoc assortment so far?

- I’m going to play with Volcano this season. That’s the one who stood out as one of the best sticks I’ve ever had, already the first time I tried it.

- What are your thoughts about the upcoming season? Do you have any personal goals?

- My goals are always the team’s goals. I always want to win! From a personal point of view, the goals are to develop and become a better player. I never set goals like scoring points or whatever, that kind of thing is not relevant to me.  I just want to make sure that the team wins. I have to make sure that we create and produce, but it doesn’t matter if it’s me or my team mates who score.

How did it feel to lift the World Cup trophy as a champion for the first time?

- Unbelievable. It was our turn now, after many years of hard work. We deserved it, and we were the better team this time.

A World Cup gold medal is for most players the finest accomplishment of them all. Is there anything else you want to achieve on the field before you retire from floorball?

- I’m a Swedish champion and a World Cup champion, but I want to win every year. There’s more to give and I’m going to go for further success in the team. Whether it’s Storvreta or the national team.

Thanks for the interview and good luck in the upcoming season!
